Haven Ranch is delighted to have Joey Kinser as our
resident trainer.
Joey Kinser is one of the hottest, up and coming young horse
trainers on the West Coast. He pursued his interest in
cutting horses at a young age and went on as a National
H.S.R.A. finalist. Over the past ten years, Joey has
apprenticed under Brad Vaughn, Russ Westfall, and Andy
Adams. He was the 2005 Breeder's Invitational Limited Open
Champion
Joey has specialized in starting young horses including
Jeeps Posi Traction, Jeeps Amigo, Hickory Somebody Smart,
Bobs Somebody and many others who have won over half a
million dollars.

Cutting...Jim Stamper and Pretty Lil Redhead took first in
the $5000 Novice Non-Pro and reserve in the $50k Amateur.
January 21, 2012: Double R
Cutting....Jim and SH Royal Red Mecom, reserve in the
Non-Pro Derby, Jim and Sugar Badger Boon taking third in the
Non-Pro.
January 15, 2012: Central
Coast Cutting Horse Association -Jim Stamper and Sugar
Badger Boon take Reserve in the Non-Pro.

October 7-9, 2011:

Royal Red Mecom and Jim Stamper made a successful debut
together in the non-pro futurity classes-placing first on
the first and third days and placing second on the second
day. Three trips to the herd and three checks...doesn't get
much better! Jim and Sugar Badger Boon also had a successful
showing in the $50k Am with two first place finishes. The
weekend was rounded-out with Jim and Pretty Lil Redhead
earning a second place finish on day 3 in the 5/6 Non-Pro.

Stamper Haven is proud to announce that Sly Cooper has
made a full recovery and returned to show form. His breeding
responsibilities will keep his show time limited this year,
but we are ecstatic that he has been able to return to full
form!
